Group Buy / Preorder Terms and Conditions
What is a Group Buy?
Group Buys (GB) are similar to a preorder where the product has not been produced yet but an order will only be place once the number of orders reach the minimum order quantity (MOQ). Unless otherwise stated, extras that are part of a GB do not have an MOQ.
Once MOQ is met and all payment has been received, Drift Mechanics will place an order with the manufacturer for all the different pieces related to the GB. Once the product has been received, the products will be inspected. Any products that do not meet our expectations can delay the initial shipping date. When the product(s) have been cleared after the inspection, orders will be shipped out in the order they were placed.
Throughout the manufacturing process, the Updates section will house all the latest updates to the product. Due to the nature of all GB products, delays might occur. Please understand that once payment has been made to the manufacturer, any delay before receiving the product(s) is generally out of our control. Please do not place an order if you are uncomfortable with a delay.
Cancellations, Refunds, Order Changes
- Cancellations: Due to the nature of a GB, cancellations will be not accepted. Only cancellations of in stock items will be accepted. Due to Shopify's Terms and Conditions, all cancellations are subject to a 3% restocking fee.
- Refunds: Refunds will be issued only to those who qualify under our return policy. The amount refunded will be less the 3% restocking fee.
- Order Changes: Changes to your order will not be guaranteed. If you need to make a change, please respond to your order email. If you need your shipping address changed, please respond to your order email with your updated information.
- Spot Transfers: Spot transfers will not be allowed. If you have purchased a spot from someone else, they are responsible for shipping the product to you. Drift Mechanics will not ship to a person different than what is on the original order.
- All orders will be declared at full value to protect us and also you. We do not undervalue shipments.
- Import/VAT fees are to be paid by the customer.
- We are not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided on the order.
- Any returned shipments will be cancelled and you will be refunded your order less restocking and fees
- Product prices do not include sales tax.
